Conference Theme: African American Studies in the Classroom: An Interdisciplinary Approach
Workshop sessions during this year’s conference will focus on a variety of topics that speak to an interdisciplinary approach to teaching the African American experience in grades K-12 instruction. Such proposals should focus on innovative strategies, current best practices, educational policies, and should be classroom-ready for teachers and other conference attendees.
